Role and Responsibilities
Assume newly created role of Lead Technician for the town
and manage additional town employees

Create
scheduling/daily assignments during recycling and garbage drop off hours
(Saturdays 8am-11am)

Create structure
and role clarity for other employees
·
Manage garbage
and recycling drop off days for the town every Saturday per town guidelines
·
Ensure only town
residents utilize service and only acceptable items are allowed
·
Work with
existing employees to build yearly task list (Calendar of events) and contact
information database for items including maintenance on machines and contacts
for outside contractors
·
Operate town
equipment per town guidelines (front end loader/backhoe/etc.)
·
Report weekly to
the town on results of garbage/recycling drop off and other relevant information
·
Any other duties
assigned by town board
Qualifications
-
Self Starter / Organizational skills / Communication
Skills / Motivated to hold people accountable / Ability to create scheduling
/ Ability to create database of contact information for relevant
organizations / Comfortable speaking with people of all ages in person and on
the phone
Preferred Skills
Leadership
experience / experience operating machinery such as backhoes and front end
loaders or similar
Additional Notes
MUST be willing to work Saturdays throughout the year from
approximately 730 am – 1200 pm
