Founded in 1843 upon settlement by Talbot C. Dousman and three others, Ottawa Wisconsin was recognized then as a superb place in which to live.  It remains so today!

The Town covers 36 square miles and has a population of 3,905.

Ottawa Town Hall is located at W360 S3337 State Road 67, Dousman WI  53118


Town Hall hours:

Monday through Thursday  8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Friday 8:00 a.m. - noon


Please note that during inclement weather or other event, the Town Hall may close and that a note will be placed on the door

BOARD OF REVIEW

 


The Assessment Roll for the year 2023 will be open for public examination starting the 15th day of May, 2023

from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., Monday through Thursday,

 and 9:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M on Fridays,

 in the office of the Town Clerk, Town of Ottawa, W360S3337 State Road 67, Dousman, WI. 

Additionally, the Town Assessor, Schultz Appraisal Agency, will hold hours for OPEN BOOK,

on Wednesday, June 13, 2023, between the hours of

10:00 A.M. and 12:00 Noon.


 


Board of Review for the Town of Ottawa, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, shall hold its first meeting on

Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ottawa Town Hall.

FOR TOWN PLAN COMMISSION ITEMS

 

For an item to be scheduled or placed on a Town of Ottawa Plan Commission agenda, ten (10) copies of the materials for all agenda items must be submitted to the Town Hall, in addition to the copy submitted to the Town Planner at her office in Waukesha.  In addition, for all agenda items the PROFESSIONAL SERVICES REIMBURSEMENT FORM must be completed and submitted, and for some items, a meeting with the Town Planner is required.  For items that require application with the Waukesha County Planning and Zoning Division, please contact the Planner of the Day:

The Town of Ottawa does not respond to anonymous complaints.  If you would like to make a complaint, we would like to know your name, address, telephone number, and what the complaint is regarding.  You can call the Town Hall with that information, at (262) 965-3228, or you can email that information to Lgeyman@tn.ottawa.wi.gov and someone from the Town Board or Town staff will respond to you within one week.
