NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the public testing of the electronic tabulating and voting equipment to be used at the Spring Election on April 7, 2026 in the Town of Ottawa, will be conducted at the Ottawa Town Hall, located at W360 S3337 State Road 67, Dousman, WI, on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. This public test is open to the general public.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Spring Election will be held in the Town of Ottawa on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The polls will be open from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Ottawa Town Hall, located at W360 S3337 State Road 67 Dousman, WI, 53118, for residents from Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5. Qualified residents who are not registered to vote in the Town of Ottawa may do so at the polls on Election Day. Please note that Voter ID is now mandatory.

The polling place is accessible to disabled and elderly voters

Election Details

An election is to be held in the Town of Ottawa on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed:

Town Board Supervisor           Michael Jones

Town Board Supervisor           Tim Wiedenbauer

Office Terms

The term for all offices is for two years beginning on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

For Candidates

The first day to circulate nomination papers is December 1, 2025, and the final day for filing nomination papers is 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 in the office of the town clerk.

Primary Election

If a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Additional Information

Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at this election.  If you do not have a photo ID you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.
